Short Work of Short Lease Assets

Two short lease acquisitions in August, contributed to a busy summer of buying.

Cardrew Court, North Finchley, N12  – 2nd floor, 2 bedroom flat in an attractive purpose built block. With an unexpired term of circa 50 years, the open market had provided little interest for the vendor. CPG agreed a price and exchanged contracts in 7 days.

Darvell Drive, Chesham, Bucks – Acquired directly from Executors, an unmodernised ground floor maisonette with only 48 years unexpired lease term. Lease extension negotiations and a program of refurbishment to follow.
